Some items are being made from Rex rabbit fur. This particular type of rabbit has a fur that is only about 5/8" long, is extremely dense and plush, is very smooth to the touch, and does not shed like many other types of rabbit fur. Jan uses only natural colors...none of the furs are dyed, and all items are normally available in black, white, or silver gray, with other colors available on request. The mittens have genuine deerskin palms and are available in small, medium, large, and extra large. They reach above the wrist. All mittens are made with a comfortable lining, and Jan will gladly replace any item that isn't a correct fit. Earmuffs are made on a stainless steel head band. Jan will also re-cover your old muffs, or replace their current covering with fur. Also available is a non-adjustable head band that is covered with fur. Always available are beautiful, cozy hand muffs, lined with a warm fuzzy material. These can be made with either a wrist or neck cord. Jan will be happy to provide a warm, comfy home for your child's hands, or yours! Puppies are roughly 14-16" long, with fixed legs and tail. They are similar in size and shape to Pound Puppies® and can be made with either short or long ears. Jan's teddy bears are a simple but preciously squeezable design, roughly 10" tall with immovable arms and legs, or a "faux fur" version which is 14" tall. We also have large 14" bears that are fully jointed. Jan can make bears out of your old fur coats as well.
