Creations by Jan offers fine handmade mittens, ear muffs, hand muffs, puppies and teddy bears made of genuine rabbit fur.

Some items are being made from Rex rabbit fur. This particular type of rabbit has a fur that is only about 5/8" long, is extremely dense and plush, is very smooth to the touch, and does not shed like many other types of rabbit fur.  Only natural colors are used, none of the furs are dyed, and all items are normally available in black, white, with other colors available on request.

 

The mittens have genuine deerskin palms and are available in small, medium, large, and extra large. They reach above the wrist. All mittens are made with a comfortable lining, and I will gladly replace any item that isn't a correct fit.

New Item - Massage mittens are now available They are made with fur on both sides and have no cuff. Just slip your hands inside and start massaging.

Earmuffs are only available in a non-adjustable band.  This band comes covered in velvet, but can be covered with fur. (as pictured)

These cozy hand muffs are not just for outdoor wear anymore. They make wonderful assessories to any wedding attire. Muffs are also a perfect addition to a person in a care facility that has cold hands.  These can be made with either a wrist or neck cord. 

Puppies are roughly 14-16" long, with fixed legs and tail. They are similar in size and shape to Pound Puppies® and can be made with either short or long ears.

 

Teddy bears are a simple but preciously squeezable design, with immovable arms and legs. Pictured is a brown faux fur 14" tall bear. We also have bears that are fully jointed. Jan can make bears out of your old fur coats as well. Teddy Bear pictured below, is a fully jointed bear, made from a Persian Lamb Coat with initials of coats owner on right foot. The hat was the fur collar.
